Direct Drive Wheelbase
The motor that connects to your steering wheel. Direct drive means no belts or gears — giving sharper, more detailed force feedback.
Nm Torque
How strong the force feedback is. 9Nm = road car feel. 15–20Nm = racing car. Beginners: 9–12Nm is plenty.
Force Feedback FFB
Makes your wheel push back and react to what's happening on track — bumps, grip, kerbs. Better FFB = more realism.
Load Cell Pedals
Measures how hard you press the brake (pressure), not how far. This is how real racing brakes work — much easier to brake consistently.
Hydraulic Pedals
Uses real hydraulic fluid to replicate a racing car brake. The pedal gets progressively harder as you push — the ultimate in realism.
Quick Release QR
The connector between your wheelbase and steering wheel. Lets you swap wheels in seconds with zero play or wobble.
Wheel Rim Steering Wheel
The steering wheel itself — separate from the wheelbase motor. Must match your wheelbase brand.
Cockpit / Rig Optional
The chassis that holds your wheel, pedals and seat. Eliminates desk flex and puts you in the correct driving position.
