Yesterday MOZA dropped what is comfortably their biggest single product launch ever. New direct drive bases, a complete entry bundle, their first motion platform, AI coaching software, flight sim yokes and — on top of all that — an official Gran Turismo World Series partnership. All in one day.

The R16 Ultra is the headline racing product from the launch. At 16Nm it sits between the R9 and R21 in the MOZA lineup and brings a completely new flat-wire motor architecture that increases torque density while keeping the base compact.
The standout feature is a new FFB interpolation algorithm that smooths transitions between adjacent force feedback signals — eliminating graininess and stepped sensations at high frequency. Road texture, kerb strikes and surface detail come through cleanly. Powered by a 600 MHz processor running MOZA's NexGen FFB Algorithm 4.0 and a 21-bit magnetic encoder.

This is the one that changes things. Four haptic motion actuators that reproduce pitch, roll and heave effects across your entire cockpit — braking dive, acceleration, weight transfer, suspension movement, kerb strikes, collisions and road surface vibration. All of it.

The July 28 launch wasn't just for sim racers. MOZA expanded their flight simulation lineup with two new products for home cockpit builders. The AY90 delivers 4.2Nm of roll torque, 90N of push-pull force and 95mm of travel — reproducing control loading from airspeed, trim, stalls, turbulence and landing impact. Supports MSFS, X-Plane and DCS.
